Eufloria HD iPad Reviews and Comment

Eufloria HD on iPad has had some great reviews since being released two months ago. The vast majority of user reviews have been 5 stars, while online reviews have ranged between 3 and 5 stars.

The best online reviews were from the likes of Pocket Lint, who said:

It’s hard to express how much we love Eurofloria, but you only need look at the number of five star reviews it has already had on iTunes by normal iPad owners to see we’re far from unique.

This is not the next Angry Birds, it’s far better than that.

App Advice described Eufloria as:

The most stylish and unique RTS you’ve ever seen

Meanwhile, over in the Netherlands, Gamergy gave it a 9/10. In Germany, iReviewT gave Eufloria A-. Other good English language reviews include those from Appolicious and AppSmile.

Eufloria Crash Fix and Update

Eufloria 1.01 is on the App Store. Fixes:

  • L8 and L18 difficulty addressed
  • Relaxed mode was too slow on some levels making them difficult; now fixed

Note that this fix resets the App Store reviews so please can you re-review the game if you’re reading this and would like to support us.

For any of you having problems with Eufloria crashing on iPad 1, it’s related to iOS kicking out the app due to memory constraints. In particular, iOS 5 notifications can cause crashes if your iPad’s memory has become fragmented or lost somehow.

To fix:

  • Reset iPad – This has worked for everyone who has reported an issue and lasts multiple runs
  • Kill Other Apps – In general, try and kill other apps before running Euforia

We know a few of you have requested in-level saves but this helps mitigate problems caused by that. We will be looking at implementing an in-level save but it’s technically problematic which is why it isn’t in already. I can’t promise this will be implemented, only that we’ll do our best!

Eufloria HD Awesome Reviews

Wow! Eufloria HD on iPad has gone down amazingly well. We’re top 5 in the UK, top ten in many countries and have many great iPad reviews and five star ratings.

We have an urgent request for all of you who like the game though. Please please can you:

1) Rate and maybe Review the game. Do it now!

2) Load iTunes on your PC or Mac, go to the App Store and select iPad, then click ‘YES‘ on ‘Was this review helpful‘ for positive reviews.

We want the game’s fans to stick together and like the positive reviews, especially in the US!

Negative reviewers seem to stick together yet make up less than 5% of reviews, almost all others being 5 stars! This means the few negative comments are shown first in the App Store.

3) Spread the word tell your friends about it on Twitter, Facebook, Blogs, and so on. Help the Mother Tree!

4) Tell people it will make a great Valentine’s Day present for their girlfriend or boyfriend, husband or wife! Give them the gift of Eufloria HD :)

We’re competing with the likes of EA and Gameloft – we can only update Eufloria and make more indie games with your support.

Eufloria HD App Store

Incredibly, Apple liked it so much that we’re Game of the Week :)

I was actually on a plane to Hong Kong when the game came out and only found out about Apple’s promotion at 5am from my tiny hostel room. Today I may have go out and celebrate Hong Kong style, whatever that means.

If you have an iPad, check Eufloria HD out now! You can find out more about the game here and view the trailer below (created by a certain Anthony Flack).

Should you like the game, please review it and spread the word to your friends over Twitter, Facebook, and by any other means of communication.
